IT Operations & Innovation Manager
With experience of about fifteen years entirely devoted to theautomotive sector, I experienced the areas of production (BodyShop, Assembly) and Quality (final control and repair), but alsowas in charge of the PSA's Lean Manufacturing program in theMangualde's Assembly Plant, in the field productivity aspects(Standardization, Hoshin, Kaizen ...) as well as in the areasof development the organization management skills (PolicyDeployment, KPI dashboards, solving problems methodology, ...).After, during 2 years, I was the Plant's coordinator during the nightshift, which allowed me to have a full-scale operational experience infull autonomy, with outstanding key performance indicators, in areaslike people, quality and operational efficiency. It was a very enrichingexperience. In 2015, I’ve embraced a new challenge in the IT area, where,beyond my IT's corporate infrastructure responsibility, I've starteda bridge between the plant's needs and the tech world. Alwaysoriented to support the shopfloor performance, I coordinate aninternal innovation cell (PERFO4.0), that develops the digital kaizen:agile, low-cost, shopfloor oriented 4.0 solutions, and at same timesponsoring an ecosystem creation with the Portuguese academy,R&D interface centers and technological enterprises, materializedin our actual co-promoted I&DT project named INDTECH4.0,developed under the following core areas: Intelligent roboticsystems, Advanced inspection systems, Autonomous GuidedVehicles, Cyber-physical Production Systems.Oriented to the results, I believe that People are the most valuableasset of an enterprise, and therefore, in spite of achieving mypersonal and immediate results, my management style is focused to"build" passionate persons... Sharing my strategic vision, challengingeach one to an autonomous attitude and developing the skills ofeveryone to solve problems and so, achieve the collective targets.
