Carlos Barros is responsible for growing Fujitsu's business in Portugal. He has executive responsibility for the Sales and Presales teams across the country, as well as overseeing the relationships with Customers and Partners.
Carlos has 30 years of experience in the IT industry and is the Managing Director for the Portuguese operation since 2008.
Carlos joined Fujitsu more than 20 years ago and has continuously contributed to the business growth, while committing to developing local R&D to fit Customer and market specific needs. Carlos has driven innovation in areas such as digital networks or enterprise content and process management on behalf of the Customers.
Before leading the Portuguese operation, Carlos was responsible for creating the Outsourcing Business Unit in Portugal.
With a vast experience in the Retail sector, which he managed at Fujitsu Services for several years, Carlos was responsible for Fujitsu's current leading position in this sector.
Carlos is a great supporter of Fujitsu local
Competence Centre, currently employing more
than 1.200 people from several nationalities
and providing service to 350.000 users in
23 languages.
A football passionate, he has a training school for children.
Member of Strategic Board of ANETIE -
(National Association of Information Technology Companies).
Two degrees in Business Management from the
ISG School of Management and from the
Catholic University.
