Pedro is
the President and CEO of Beta-i, an organization dedicated at helping startups
succeed and boosting entrepreneurial ecosystems based in Lisbon.
He has a MSc in Business and Management from Catholic Business School, a post-graduation in "Foresight, Strategy and Innovation" from ISEG, and participated in the second Social Entrepreneurship Executive Program from INSEAD, among many other training courses.
Professionally Pedro participates in several initiatives related with entrepreneurship and innovation as it is his area of expertise. He is a fellow of Kauffman Global Partner Network, member of World Entrepreneurship Forum and Young Urban Leaders Network, co-founder of Startup Portugal and a member of APBA - Portuguese Business Angel Association, where he was an Executive Board Member for three years.
Pedro hosts and mentors SeedCamp Lisbon, facilitates and co-directs Startup Weekend Lisbon, and was the co-director and mentor of the 1st Founder Institute Lisbon, in addition to several other mentoring initiatives.
